Zimmerman Packing & Mfg., Inc. is a small Manufacturing Firm located in Cincinnati Ohio. It has been a small, family owned and operated Company since in was started, Four generations ago, in 1920.  While the main products were pump packings and gasket materials, we began die cutting gaskets and washers. It was the basic need in his own shop that made Charles H. Zimmerman aware of the need for a simple hand tool that could cut out gaskets from pliable gasket material. It was 1935 that Charles H. Zimmerman  made the breakthrough that labeled him as the inventor of the first gasket cutter hand tool with the  “ironing action” principle. He was succeeded by his son, Ralph C. Zimmerman, who was succeeded  by his son, R. Charles Zimmerman, who was succeeded  by his daughter and current President and General Manager, Marilyn Bell..

The old values of Customer Service, Quality, Precision and complete Customer Satisfaction have been passed from generation to generation. Constant upgrading of the Spearhead line is testimony to the commitment of our family to supply quality, precise, easy to use products for our customers.  Every generation has made improvements, or additions to improve the “Spearhead” line of tools.
